The week will include the Capability Counts conference, the annual Partner Workshop, and some unique training opportunities. Register Online for Capability Counts and/or the Partner Workshop
Capability Counts conference registration and Partner Workshop registration are available through one system this year. You may use the system to register for the conference or the workshop or both events together.
The registration system will ask you,“Is your company a CMMI Institute Partner?” You must answer “Yes.” This will allow you to register for the conference on 16 & 17 May and the partner workshop meetings on 12 & 13 May 2016.
CMMI Institute Partner organization employees are eligible to register for the Capability Counts conference at the Partner discount rate of $1,299. No additional discounts can be used against the Partner rate, but it is the lowest rate available.
The CMMI Institute Partner Workshop is available to all Partner Business Points of Contact (BPOC) and to any certified Lead Appraiser, Instructor, or Enterprise Data Management Expert. Candidates awaiting observation may also attend the Partner Workshop.

CMMI Institute Partner Workshop, 11-13 May 2016
Why should I attend?
The CMMI Institute Annual Partner Workshop is a great opportunity to learn about the current state of CMMI globally, hear about the progress on the Next Generation of CMMI and other projects, share your feedback on the projects, and learn from your CMMI colleagues. All Partner Business Points of Contact (BPOC) and any certified Lead Appraisers, Instructors, or Enterprise Data Management Experts are welcome to attend the workshop. Candidates awaiting observation may also attend the Partner Workshop.
There is no fee to attend the workshop, but registration is required. Register using the instructions above by 30 April if you plan to attend.
What to expect?
The Partner Workshop will begin with a Partner reception on Wednesday, 11 May 4:30-6:00 PM with the ISACA CEO, Matt Loeb.
Workshop sessions will run from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Thursday, 12 May and 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM on Friday, 13 May 2016.

1:30-5:00: Information sessions about Quality, Marketing, Product Development followed by “deeper dive” sessions on the popular topics from the Partner Survey

Help out at the conference
There are a number of ways that CMMI Institute Partners can volunteer to help make the Capability Counts a success in May! If you are willing to volunteer at the conference, please email email@example.com by 22 April.
Help the Capability Counts Conference team get all the attendees through on-site check-in smoothly on Tuesday morning. The Registration helpers can assist with handing out conference bags and printed programs to the attendees. You will receive a quick training at the Information desk area on Tuesday morning at 6:30 AM.
The Session Moderator introduces the speakers, moderates the Q&A and keeps the timing on track. Make sure the technology and environment in each room is working well. Preferred qualifications: Strong public speaker, ability to tell and keep time, willingness to tell people there is not time for another question now, but they can connect on the break. Familiarity with projectors and laptops, jump drives, and PDF and PowerPoint software.
CMMI Institute Training Courses in Annapolis 9-13 May 2016
CMMI Institute is offering the CMMI Instructional Methods and Advancing Organizational Capability: Applying CMMI courses during the week of Capability Counts conference in May. Students will have an opportunity to attend both the training course and parts of the Capability Counts conference.
This course equips Certified Instructors to teach current introductory courses. It also serves as the transitional training on the methods of instruction that Instructors will need to teach CMMI Institute’s next generation of training offerings. This course helps CMMI practitioners, managers, systems and software engineers, quality assurance specialists, engineering process group members, candidate SCAMPI Lead Appraisers, candidate CMMI Instructors, and others to explore the relationships among CMMI model components and understand how to apply CMMI concepts to impact immediate process and performance improvement in their organization.
